JAKARTA - Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still complaining that Manchester United should have won two penalties in their 2-1 win over West Ham United in the Premier League match at London's Olympic Stadium on Sunday night.

"I have to be careful with what I say, but you can't help but wonder what to do to get a penalty kick," Solskjaer said after the game.

Solskjaer said there have been at least three incidents involving Cristiano Ronaldo in the West Ham box but were ignored by referee Martin Atkinson and according to the Norwegian tactician two of them should have been clear fouls.

The first incident occurred in the 77th minute, when Ronaldo tried to stab from the left side and ended up falling under pressure from Vladimir Coufal in the forbidden box.

Then in the 85th minute, Ronaldo claimed he fell after Aaron Cresswell pulled the superstar's jersey while trying to meet Jadon Sancho's cross.

And finally in the first minute of injury time, Ronaldo fell again in the West Ham penalty box after being interrupted by Kurt Zouma.

"It's disappointing but they should have looked into those incidents. Those were two fouls that were clear penalties," said Solskjaer.

"The first one was Coufal sticking out his leg where Ronaldo ran straight and fell over because of it.

"And lastly, Paul Pogba had a foul on Zouma for not touching him but overtaking him. Why didn't Cristiano get a foul? Hopefully this is not a case he will never get a penalty," he added.

West Ham, on the other hand, were awarded a penalty kick for a VAR input which concluded Luke Shaw had committed a handball foul on Andriy Yarmolenko's cross.

Luckily for United, goalkeeper David de Gea made a save from Mark Noble's penalty to seal a 2-1 win which was supported by goals from Ronaldo and Jesse Lingard.

MU sharpened their away loss record to 29 consecutive matches and sit third in the standings with a collection of 13 points having lost on goal difference to Chelsea and Liverpool.

United will next meet West Ham again on Wednesday at Old Trafford for the Premier League Cup third round, before hosting Aston Villa at the same venue three days later.
