JAKARTA - Following a week of training camp (TC) at Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi, the Indonesian U-16 national team has adapted well. TC is carried out by following strict health protocols because the COVID-19 pandemic in the country has not ended.

The Young Garuda squad also underwent a rapid test and swab test when doing TC. In addition, the team of coaches and doctors are very focused on matters of health and safety of players, so that a variety of health protocol equipment is provided very complete.

"The health protocol must be followed properly, it is all under the supervision of a team of doctors. Regarding physical conditions, Bima explained that the coaching team adjusted to the conditions of the players and was accompanied by a different training menu.

"We started (TC) last Monday, introducing training again for philanesia, then for training, we do keep the distance between training intervals. The coaching team can't force it because it's different," said Bima.

"The development of the players is also progressing every day. The adaptation of the second week of training will be different," he concluded.

The TC, which was carried out by the U-16 Indonesian national team, is a preparation for the 2020 U-16 AFC Cup which will take place in Bahrain, 25 November-12 December. At this event, Indonesia was joined in Group D along with Japan, China and Saudi Arabia.
