Promising Raspadori And Kean A Place In The Italy Squad, Mancini Gives Conditions: As Long As You Want To Work Hard And Be Disciplined

JAKARTA - Italy national team coach Roberto Mancini promises the opportunity to continue playing for young players Giacomo Raspadori and Moise Kean in the Gli Azzuri squad.

Quoted by Antara from Italian Football, Thursday, Mancini explained, as long as these two players are willing to work hard and be disciplined, they can get the opportunity to defend the Italian squad.

"If they (Raspadori and Kean) do what they have to do, work hard, stay disciplined, then it's up to them, but they will get their chance," said Mancini.

The 56-year-old coach continued to say that he brought Raspadori to Euro 2020 because he saw the quality of the young player.

Mancini continued that young players like Raspadori and Kean still need experience and that is on their minds and feet.

"We have brought Raspadori to the Euros, we saw he has quality, but he is young and requires experience. Of course, it has their minds and their feet," explained Mancini.

Raspadori and Kean impressed when believed to appear since the first minute when Italy faced Lithuania in the 2022 World Cup qualifying round for the European zone.

Playing on Wednesday, September 8 evening local time, Raspadori scored one goal and Kean scored two goals when helping Italy win the match against Lithuania with a final score of 5-0.
