Face Barito At An Unusual Hour, Persib Assistant Coach: Want To Play Night Or Day Is No Problem

JAKARTA - Persib assistant coach Budiman Yunus hopes that his squad will be ready for their inaugural match in Liga 1 2021/2022.

Quoted by Antara from the club's official website, Thursday, Persib is scheduled to face Barito Putera at the Indomilk Arena Stadium, Saturday the day after tomorrow.

Budiman explained that all players are ready to give their best for Persib and it is hoped that in this inaugural match Maung Bandung can get full points.

The 49-year-old coach thinks it is very important for Persib to be able to get three points when undergoing the inaugural Liga 1 2021/2022 match.

"All the players are ready to give their best. Hopefully in the first match this can produce good points. Winning in the early matches is important," said Budiman.

Furthermore, the former player from Persib said that the team did not mind whether to play at night or during the day because they tried to give their best.

It is known that Persib will serve Barito Putera at 20:30 WIB which is usually not the time to hold a match except during the conditions of the month of Ramadan.

"If you want to play at night or during the day, there really isn't a problem because the players are used to it. Whether you want to play at night or during the day, we believe they can give their best," said Budiman.

"This is actually good for us who are usually hot training and playing that night is a good energy in my opinion. So there is no problem," he continued.

Furthermore, Budiman considered that the Barito Putera squad would certainly be difficult to beat because there was coach Djadjang Nurdjaman who had good tactics.

In addition, the Barito Putera squad also has good players, both local and foreign players.

"Coach Djadjang Nurdjaman is an experienced coach. The tactical aspect is good. The material for the players, both local and foreign, is quite good," explained Budiman.

After undergoing the match against Barito Putera, the following week Persib will face Persita on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 20:30 but the venue for this match has not been determined.
