There Is A Meaning Of Diversity In The Latest Persib Bandung Jersey

JAKARTA - Persib Bandung released a new jersey for the home game for the 2021/2022 season. In its design, Maung Bandung tries to liven up the motto of Bhineka Tunggal Ika.

Launching Antara, Wednesday, September 1, Persib tried to revive the motto of Bhineka Tunggal Ika which was considered to be eroding in various aspects recently.

Persib said the values contained in the motto Bhineka Tunggal Ika began to erode from national life to football life.

"Recognizing it or not, these values are starting to erode in the life of the nation and also the life of football," Persib wrote in the release.

In addition to trying to liven up the value of the country's motto, Persib also considers this jersey to represent its squad which is colored by diversity.

Currently, Persib is inhabited by players from West Java, various regions in Indonesia and other parts of foreign countries which illustrate this diversity.

Furthermore, Persib emphasized that the owner of the Persib jersey is not limited, anyone has the right to have it as long as they still adhere to the value of Bhineka Tunggal Ika.

In essence, this Persib jersey seeks to re-knit diversity in uniformity for anyone who owns it.

"If the fashion statement is true. So, Persib's statement in the main match uniform is quite clear, various in a uniform.

"Re-knitting diversity in uniformity. And if you still hold fast to Bhineka Tunggal Ika or still use it in the joints of life, whether online or offline.

"So, as with the Persib team, this jersey is always open to you. No matter who, whatever race, and from anywhere, you also have the right to wear this Persib jersey," wrote the release.

Persib will play their first match in Liga 1 2021/2022 on Saturday, September 4 at 20:30 WIB against Barito Putera.
