Closer To Manchester City, Jack Grealish Immediately Undergoes Medical Test

JAKARTA - Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish is reported to be undergoing a medical on Thursday local time before joining Manchester City.

Quoted from Sky Sports, Manchester City have made a £100 million offer on Friday, 30 July to activate Grealish's release clause at Aston Villa.

Jack Grealish reportedly chose to leave Aston Villa because he has ambitions to win the title with Manchester City.

Previously, Grealish was still considering whether he could leave Aston Villa after playing for The Villa for approximately 19 years.

Aston Villa have previously offered Grealish a salary more than he would have received if he joined Manchester City, but Grealish's desire to win the title is even greater.

Although it was quite difficult to lose Grealish, Aston Villa's management agreed to Grealish's request to leave for Manchester City.

Aston Villa's players and management wish Grealish the very best for the future and there is no bitterness over the Englishman's move.

If in the end Grealish's move to Manchester City happens, it will be the biggest transfer in the history of English football.

Previously this record was held by Manchester United by signing Paul Pogba from Juventus for £93 million (Rp1.8 trillion) in 2016.
