JAKARTA - The General Chair of the Indonesian Athletics Association (PB PASI) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan released the departure of the Athletics national team to compete at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Indonesia will compete in athletics by sending two athletes, namely Lalu Muhammad Zohri and Alvin Tehupeiory, who each compete in the men's and women's 100m running events.

Zohri, became the first Indonesian athlete to secure a ticket to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics through competition results in the Seiko Golden Grand Prix Championship in May 2019 in Osaka, Japan.
