Barcelona Agrees To Lautaro Martinez's Terms Of Move

JAKARTA - Barcelona have reportedly agreed a deal with Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez ahead of the 2020-2021 La Liga season.

The Catalan giants have consistently been linked with a move for the Argentina international once the € 111 million player release clause was activated in July.

Although Barca appear to be some distance away from realizing their wish, a report from Diario Sport today, Wednesday, June 3, claims a deal has been agreed. The 22-year-old forward will sign a five-year contract.

However, despite a reported annual salary of 12 million euros by Martinez's representatives, the agreement between the clubs was not agreed.

According to the report, the Italian club are unwilling to reduce their demands for a full release clause, or 80 million euros plus two players.

Barca coach Quique Setien is open to a player swap deal. So far, Arturo Vidal and Junior Firpo have been linked to be part of the swap move for Martinez.

However, La Blaugrana are determined to lower that fee to around 60 million euros, if they lose two important players in their squad this summer.
