Euro 2020 Final Italy Vs England, Will Harry Kane Be Like Lukaku Who Became A 'Chicken' In Front Of Chiellini-Bonucci?

JAKARTA - The highlight of the Euro 2020 event will be held on Monday, July 12 at Wembley Stadium, at 02.00 a.m. Indonesian time. This match, which is touted as the ideal final, will certainly present a classy and interesting game.

Why do many think this is the ideal final? Their superiority on the way to the final would be the answer.

Italy was able to win six matches, although one match had to be settled on penalties. Roberto Mancini's troops are also quite fertile, where Lorenzo Insigne and his friends managed to score 12 goals against the opponent's goal.

On the other hand, England won five times and drew once. The Three Lions squad led by captain Harry Kane was able to create 10 goals.

The England national team striker is indeed a scourge for the opposing defense line. The Tottenham Hotspur star has scored four goals.

However, Kane's brilliance in England's front line will be met with a tough challenge from the Italian defensive wall raised by two senior defenders, Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci.

Sky-high praise deserves to be given to the duo Chiellini and Bonucci. They are an important figure behind the greatness of Italy who are unbeaten in their last 33 matches.

Even in the Euro 2020 event, the Azzurri's defense was quite solid, because they only conceded two goals. That was also a goal from the penalty spot when Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku scored the net against Gianluigi Donnarumma in the quarter-finals which Italy won 2-1.

But Kane is the type of striker who needs a mature ball supply to score goals. Of the four goals he has scored at Euro 2020, three of them were assisted by his teammates, while one came from the rebound from a penalty kick that he executed himself against Denmark in the semifinals.

The three players who provided assists for Kane were Raheem Sterling, Luke Shaw, and Jack Grealish. However, Italy certainly will not allow England's fast wingers to freely provide crosses.

Evidently against Spain, the Italian defense managed to stem the opponent's attack from the wings. Alvaro Morata's goal was created through his collaboration with Dani Olmo from the middle sector.

Well what Morata did needs to be a record for Kane. He certainly needs to work even harder if he doesn't want his fate to be like Lukaku.

At the very least, Kane must create his own chances if Sterling and his friends fail to give him the ball. A kick from outside the box maybe? Yes, Kane has done that a few times at Spurs.
