JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman I of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI), Taufik Hidayat, is optimistic about the new generation of Indonesian badminton after seven players who have the status of debutants managed to reach the quarter-finals at the 2026 All England this week.

"Don't think too much about who the opponent is or the ranking they have. Just focus on your own game, bring out the best ability, and show fighting spirit on the field. With that mentality, I'm sure they can give the best fight and continue to grow in the future," he said.
