PSBS Biak Vs Persijap 3-2, Pacific Storm Secures Full Points From 10 Opponents

JAKARTA PSBS Biak won an important victory in the 14th week of the 2025/2026 Super League after beating Persijap Jepara with a score of 3-2 in a tense match at Maguwoharjo Stadium, Sleman, Thursday, November 27 evening WIB. Playing with the status of the host, the Pacific Storm appeared aggressive from the start and managed to lock three points from opponents who had to finish the match with 10 players.

PSBS immediately stepped on the gas as soon as the game started. Just seven minutes later, Rurery opened the scoring after taking advantage of the hosts' quick attack. This quick goal sparked successive pressure from PSBS and made Persijap have to work hard to catch up.

Persijap's efforts finally paid off in the 36th minute through Carlos Franca's kick which changed the score to 1-1. The position of the draw lasted until the first half was over.

Entering the second half, PSBS took the initiative to attack again. Just a minute into the game, Rurery got a foul in the box. The referee reviewed the incident via VAR and decided to give the hosts a penalty. Liquinhas, who stepped up as the executor, finished his job well in the 53rd minute, bringing PSBS back up 2-1.

PSBS' positive momentum continues. In the 59th minute, Heri Susanto listed his name on the scoreboard after welcoming Damianus Adiman's neat through ball. This goal brought PSBS away 3-1 and put Persijap under heavy pressure.

Things were even more complicated for Persijap when Carlos Franca got a second yellow card in the 72nd minute, making his team have to play with 10 players. However, despite the lack of number of players, Persijap showed resistance. They narrowed the gap to 3-2 with Diogo Brito's penalty in the 76th minute after Pablo Andrade's handball.

Towards the end of the match, both teams created chances, but no additional goals were created. The 3-2 score for PSBS lasted until the long whistle sounded.

This victory lifted PSBS Biak to 14th position in the standings with 12 points. On the other hand, Persijap Jepara is stuck in 16th place with a collection of 8 points.

PSBS again showed its fighting spirit, while Persijap had to evaluate performance even though he had given fierce resistance even with 10 players.
