Anthony Joshua Against Jake Paul Held December 19, 2025

JAKARTA The former integrated heavyweight world champion, Anthony Joshua (AJ), is certain to fight Jake Paul next month.

The clash between Joshua and the new YouTube star turning to professional boxing is scheduled to take place on December 19, 2025 at the Kaseya Center, Miami, United States.

Jake Paul enthusiastically welcomed this fight. He also looks confident to beat the 36-year-old fighter.

"This is not an AI simulation. It's a rainy day. When I beat Anthony Joshua, all doubts disappeared, and no one could refuse my chance to fight for the world title," Paul said.

Paul was previously scheduled to fight against Gervonta Davis in an exhibition earlier this month. However, it was canceled due to a lawsuit filed against Davis by his ex-girlfriend.

The speculation that Joshua will fight Paul was initially denied because of the difference in experience between the two, especially AJ is a former heavyweight world champion.

"Like it or not, I'm here to score big audience numbers, stage big fights, and break every record while remaining calm, cold, and under control."

"Remember my words, you will see many other fighters take chances like this in the future. I will 'break the internet' through Jake Paul's face," said Joshua.

The fight, which will be broadcast live on Netflix, lasted eight rounds, each of which lasted three minutes.

Joshua, who weighed more than 250 pounds (113.3 kilograms) in his last three fights, had to lose weight below 245 pounds (111 kilograms). In addition, the two boxers will wear regulatory gloves weighing 10 ounces.

This is the first time Joshua has returned to the ring since he was defeated by knockout by Daniel Dubois, then IBF champion, in September 2024.
