JAKARTA The final match of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) of Yogyakarta Series I 2025-2026 has been completed. MI Baburroyyan Kiyudan and SD Muhammadiyah Karangploso came out as champions.

The series of matches at the top of the MLSC Yogyakarta Series I 2025-2026 took place at the Tridadi Stadium on Sunday, October 19, 2025. MI Babarroyyan Kiyudan won the 10th year age group (KU) and SD Muhammadiyah Karangploso won at KU-12 years.

MI Baburroyyan Kiyudan successfully won after playing a fierce match against SDN 3 Imogiri which ended with a score of 5-4. They came from behind to climb the highest podium.

In that high-tension match, Aqil Azahra Putri Yuana came out as the hero of victory. He managed to buy up all the winning goals for MI Baburroyyan Kiyudan.

"I am very proud because I was finally able to help the team win after the previous two series only reached the last 32 and the last eight," said Aqila.

As for the KU-12 category, SD Muhammadiyah Karangploso appeared dominant to beat SDN 2 Wonoharjo who was the champion of MLSC Yogyakarta Series I 2024 with a final result of 6-1.

Nadia Shakila Azzahra performed brilliantly in the final round to bring Muhammadiyah Karangploso to win. He scored two goals in the first half and then added three goals in the second half.

Another goal from SD Muhammadiyah Karangploso was created by Najwa Azzahra Aprilia in the first half, while the opposing team's entertainment goal was packaged by Chelsia Naura Putri at the start of the second half.

"I want to present my success in becoming a champion for both parents who have always supported me so that I can continue to pursue my dream of becoming a successful football player and being part of the Indonesian national team," said Nadia.

The MilkLife Soccer Challenge Yogyakarta Series I 2025-2026 was attended by 1,619 students from 84 elementary schools (SD) and madrasah ibtidaiyah (MI) in Yogyakarta and its surroundings. They are divided into 69 KU-10 teams and 80 KU-12 teams.

The Program Manager of MilkLife Soccer Challenge, Edi Supriyanto, said that the wheels of the early-aged women's soccer ecosystem in Yogyakarta are turning faster according to the target set by the organizers.

"Hopefully the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of Yogyakarta women to pursue football will be lit up and followed by other cities holding the MLSC," said Edi.

The increase in the number of participants in the Yogyakarta MLSC Series 1 2025-2026 is in line with the increasing quality of female footballers. From this series, as many as 25 names were chosen to take part in the MilkLife Soccer Extra Training.

The head coach of the Yogyakarta Soccer Challenge, Tri Wulandari, said that the great potential and high competitiveness were also shown by individuals and teams who had just tested competition in the tournament initiated by the Djarum Foundation and MilkLife Sports Service.

"The organization of this series has more and more students who have developed in terms of playing on the field, both individual engineering and teamwork," said Wulan.

Initially, the Yogyakarta Series I 2024 MilkLife Soccer Challenge was recorded as being attended by 452 students, then 1,203 were enlivened at the 2024 MLSC Yogyakarta Series II, and at MLSC Yogyakarta 2025 on 18-22 June 2025, the number of participants increased again to 1,315 students.
