Launching Soccerway, Tuesday, April 28, UEFA said on Monday each association would receive Rp71.7 billion (4.3 million euros) which could be used to alleviate the negative impact of the coronavirus on football at all levels.
The donations come from the HatTrick program which was formed in 2004 to support development projects for each member federation.
"Our sport faces unprecedented challenges in relation to the COVID-19 crisis. UEFA wants to help its members respond in an appropriate way to their respective environments," said UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin quoted from the UEFA website.
"As a result, we agreed (assistance) of 4.3 million euros per association, which is paid for the remainder of this season and the following (season), as part of an investment fund, which our members can use to rebuild the football community, "he continued.
