The Indonesian National Team Has 29 Players In The Fourth Round Of The 2026 World Cup Qualification

The Indonesian national team will bring 29 players to the 2026 World Cup Qualification in Saudi Arabia (VOI/Karisa Aurelia Tukan).

JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team will continue their struggle in the Fourth Round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification against Saudi Arabia and Iraq. For that match, 29 players were called up to strengthen the Garuda Squad.

Previously, on September 24, 2025, PSSI had released 28 names of players who were projected to appear in the two 2026 Asian Zone World Cup Qualification matches.

However, ahead of the team's departure to Saudi Arabia on Thursday, October 2, 2025, noon WIB, the Indonesian National Team Manager, Sumardji, confirmed that there were additional new players in the goalkeeper sector, namely Nadeo Argawinata, who performed brilliantly in the Super League recently.

With the joining of Nadeo, now Indonesia means having a total of 29 players. Apart from Nadeo, in the position of goalkeepers, there were Maarten Paes, Emil Audero, and Ernando Ari Sutaryadi.

Then in the back line include players with center-back and full-back positions. Kluivers have 10 players, namely Justin Hubner, Jay Noah Idzes, Rizky Ridho Ramadhani, Jordi Amat Maas, Kevin Diks Bakarbessy, Shayne Elian Jay Pattynama, Eliano Johannes Reijnders, Yance Sayuri, Sandy Henny Walsh, and Calvin Ronald Verdok.

Shifting to midfield and wing midfielders, the Indonesian national team also has many options. There are seven players who can operate in the midfield sector, such as Dean Ruben James, Nathan Tjoe-A-On, Thom Haye, Joey Pelupessy, Marc Anthony Klok, Ricky Richardo Kambuaya, and Stefano Lilipaly.
