Women's U-15 And U-18 Football Leagues Held In Four Cities

JAKARTA The women's soccer league targeting the U-15 and U-18 age groups titled Hydroplus Soccer League is ready to be held in four major Indonesian cities starting earlier this month.

The competition, which was held thanks to the collaboration between the Djarum Foundation and Hydroplus, will be held in waves starting October 4, 2025.

The four major cities that will host are Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, and Kudus. A total of 90 teams from football schools (SSB), clubs, and football academies will participate.

Group Brand Head Hydroplus, Yose Moriza, said that this league is the answer to the thirst of women's football lovers towards league-formed competitions.

"We hope to be the locomotive of the birth of talented and tough female footballers who will make achievements for Indonesia."

"In addition, through this competition, we also want to invite the Indonesian people to continue to emit enthusiasm both during their daily activities and when exercising," he said.

The holding of the U-15 and U-18 women's soccer leagues is a series of roadmaps for the ecosystem development and development of women's soccer athletes that have been designed by the Djarum Foundation Sports Service.

The Director of Hydroplus Soccer League, Teddy Tjahjono, said that this league is a continuation of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) and the Hydroplus of the U-14 and U-16 Pertiwi Cups.

"We hope that the league for the U-15 and U-18 will become a forum for women's soccer players in pursuing their career path to a professional level," said Teddy.

The Hydroplus Soccer League adopts a home and away league format which aims to have teenage female footballers have a regular match schedule.

The Hydroplus Soccer League match will be held every two weeks in each city with the hope that athletes can evaluate and prepare more carefully for the next match.

Director of Technical Engineering for Football Academy, Yopi Riwoe, welcomed this competition. He considered this would help the development of women's soccer in Indonesia.

"This league helps children to learn, coaches can learn, also referees can learn, and match management can also learn. This is a good forum to help our children develop," he said.

The Hydroplus Soccer League will take place in Jakarta from October 4, 2025 to May 31, 2026, involving 16 teams from the U-15 and 10 teams in the U-18 categories.

Followed by Bandung on October 11, 2025 to June 7, 2026 (16 U-15 team and 8 U-18 teams). At the same time, the competition was also held in Surabaya (eight U-15 teams and eight U-18 teams).

Kudus will start the competition on January 3, 2026 to May 23, 2026 (16 U-15 teams and 8 U-18 teams).

After that, champions and runners-up in every city will get tickets to compete in the Hyperplus Soccer League All-Stars which will be held in Kudus in July 2026.
