More Than 390 Tons Of MotoGP Logistics Arrived In Lombok, Mandalika Circuit Ready To Hold Racing

Logistics for the 2025 Mandalika MotoGP needs have arrived in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (doc. MGPA).

JAKARTA - The logistics for the 2025 Mandalika MotoGP equipment have been confirmed to arrive at Zainudin Abdul Madjid International Airport, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, there were a total of more than 390 tons of equipment brought to the country.

The Mandalika 2025 MotoGP agenda will begin on 3-5 October 2025. According to the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) report, the various racing equipment have been distributed in stages starting Monday, September 29 and Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

Of the total 390 tons heavier logistics that arrived, including motorcycles, spare parts, to team support equipment and racing participants including electronic devices, paddock equipment, to media equipment and broadcast.

The goods were transported to Indonesia using a Boeing 777 Freighter cargo plane belonging to Qatar Airways from Narita, Japan, which also contains MotoGP and Moto2 and Moto3 needs.

From the delivery process, there were two logistics cargo flights that landed in Bizam at 21.05 WITA. The cargo weighs 81,635 kilograms.

The next cargo shipment arrives at Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 00.05 WITA, weighing 93,499 kilograms.

The third cargo plane arrived on Wednesday at 14:35 WITA with a cargo of 77,053 kilograms. Followed by the fourth cargo at 17.00 WITA weighing 58,908 kilograms. Meanwhile, the last plane landed at 22.10 WITA with a cargo of 80,070 kilograms.

After the logistics arrived at Lombok Airport, the loading and unloading process was immediately carried out, checking flight documents, and structuring the airport to be sealed by Customs officers and sent directly to the Mandalika Circuit.

This distribution process was carried out in a short time considering that the MotoGP team needed preparation as soon as the goods arrived.

From the installation of the paddock, the preparation of the motor, to the technical adjustment, all depends on the smooth delivery of the logistics.

President Director of the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA), Priandhi Satria, said that the successful management of logistical arrivals is a factor that greatly determines the smooth implementation of the 2025 Mandalika MotoGP.

"Logistics are the pulse of an event as big as MotoGP. All motorcycles, equipment, and team equipment must arrive on time, in a safe condition, and ready for use."

"This year the challenge is bigger because the back-to-back race schedule from Japan to Mandalika is very tight."

"Therefore, coordination with Customs and Excise, SEZ Administrators, airlines, and all stakeholders is the key so that there are no obstacles."
