Marc Marquez Will Get A Surprise Ahead Of The 2025 Mandalika MotoGP

JAKARTA Marc Marquez will certainly receive a special welcome as a world champion when he comes to Indonesia to take part in the 2025 MotoGP race at the Mandalika Circuit.

President Director (Managing Director) of InJourney, Maya Watono, said that the event to welcome Marquez would be prepared in Jakarta and Lombok, where the Mandalika MotoGP took place.

"Certainly this is a very extraordinary moment as Marc Marquez today landed as world champion."

"So, we will accept Marcquez as world champion in Jakarta, later in Lombok we have prepared extraordinary parade riders. So, his enthusiasm is extraordinary," said Maya in Jakarta.

Marquez officially won the MotoGP title this season in a race in Japan last weekend. He finished second to make the number of points unable to be chased by his younger brother Alex Marquez.

This is Marquez's seventh title in the MotoGP race and the ninth at the Grand Prix level. That number made him officially parallel to the legend of Italian life, Valentino Rossi.

However, Marquez has not beaten Mandalika in the main race since the circuit debuted in 2022.

The race in Mandalika will take place on October 3-5, 2025. This is the 18th series in this season's racing calendar.

There are still four series remaining after that, consecutively in Australia on October 17-19, Malaysia October 24-26, following Portugal on November 7-9, and the closing series in Valencia on November 14-16.
