Korea Open 2025: Schedule Of 5 Indonesian Representatives On The First Day

Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo will start the Korea Open 2025 from the qualifying round (doc. PBSI).

JAKARTA A total of five Indonesian representatives will compete on the first day of the Korea Open 2025, two of which will fight from the qualifying round.

The first day of the BWF Super 500 level event will start on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. The series of matches will start at 10.00 local time or 08.00 WIB.

The men's singles badminton player Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo will play first. He played from the qualifying round against Wang Yue Hang (England) in the second match of Field 4.

Chico struggled from the qualifying round with Mohammad Zaki Ubaidillah. The badminton player who was born in Madura competed in the third match of Field 3 against Teh Jin Hong from Malaysia.

If both win then Chico and Ubed - Ubaidillah's nickname - will face each other in the qualifying quarter-finals to win a ticket to the main round of the tournament.

After that, women's doubles Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti got their turn to play. The pair took part in the eighth match of Field 3 versus Liu Lok Lok/Tsang Hiu Yan from Hong Kong.

After that, the men's doubles Muhammad Rian Ardianto / Yeremia Rambitan played. They met Takuro Hockey / Yugo Kobayashi (Japan) in the same ninth match.

Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri then closed the struggle of Indonesia's representatives. This pair played in the 10th match of Field 1 against Nur Mohd Azriyn Ayub Azriyn/Tan Wee Kiong (Malaysia).

Fajar/Fikri previously managed to reach the semifinals of the China Masters 2025 last week. They are the only Indonesian representatives to make it that far in the tournament.
