The Jakic 2025 Golf Tournament Will Be Held On October 2-5

JAKARTA The Jakarta International Championship (Jakic) golf event will take place on October 2-5, 2025. This is Indonesia's debut for the tournament which is included in the premium International Series event calendar.

Jakic will take place at the Damai Indah Golf Golf 'PIK Course. This tournament emphasizes and increases Indonesia's reputation as a strong supporter of professional golf, especially the Asian Tour.

"This is an important thing for Indonesia to have an international golf tournament. We have to believe that this event can be a success," said Chairman of the Damai Indah Golf Club Committee, Royke Tumilaar.

This event is part of the International Series, the prestigious Asian Tour event which has been going on since 2022. This International Series is a collaboration between the Asian Tour and the LIV Golf Investment.

Jakic 2025 is the 13th Asian Tour event and fifth stop of the International Series 2025, premium Asian Tour tournaments that provide golfers from all over the world direct access to the LIV Golf League.

As a marque event Asian Tour, all International Series performances will present the best golfers and Asian elites. Golfers who have managed to occupy the top spot in the International Series rankings at the end of the season will have the opportunity to play in the LIV Golf League the following season.

This tournament received full support from the Provincial Government of the Special Capital Region (Pemprov DKI) Jakarta because it succeeded in presenting a new atmosphere on the Indonesian golf stage.

"Through the Jakic 2025 event, we want to strengthen Jakarta's position as one of the Asian golf destinations, which has contributed to the development of golf on this continent," said DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo.

Jakarta has become a popular and routine destination for the Asian Tour in the last 30 years. Therefore, the implementation of the Jakarta International Championship certainly has great meaning for the Asian Tour.

Asian Tour Board of Directors, Jubilant A. Harmidy, said that Jakic 2025 will add to the diversity of schedules and variations in competitions.

"We are very happy that the Governor of Jakarta is very supportive. We are optimistic that this tournament will help promote the beautiful city of Jakarta in all its advantages," he said.

The holding of the prestigious Jakic 2025 tournament certainly gives its own pride for Indonesian golfers who have the opportunity to appear in this International Series event.

Gabriel Total Hari is one of the host golfers who will appear in Jakic 2025. Performance in Jakic 2025 is the third place in Hasel since becoming a professional player this year.

"Obviously, I'm really excited. This is my first time playing in the International Series tournament. Of course, preparations are much more mature than before. This month I have participated in a lot of training with my mental trainers," said Hasel.
