JAKARTA The mixed doubles tie that will play in the China Masters 2025 this week is expected to be much sharper than their previous performance at the Hong Kong Open 2025 last week.
The China Masters BWF Super 750 Tournament will take place on 16-21 September 2025 at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center. Indonesia sent as many as three mixed doubles out of a total of 14 representatives.
The three partners in question are Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu, Adnan Maulana/Indah Cahya Sari Jamil, and Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah.
Mixed doubles head coach, Rionny Mainaky, hopes that his team can maintain their positive performance.

"This is another competency test for three mixed doubles pairs. I want them to go as far as possible. The level is higher than last week, automatically the pressure is getting bigger, but I'm sure the children can handle it," Rionny concluded.
While playing at the Hong Kong Open 2025, the furthest trip for the mixed doubles was the semifinals achieved by Adnan/Indah. It was their first semifinals in this year's calendar.
As for Jafar/Felisha and Amri/Nita, they ran aground in the first and second half in a row. Jafar/Felisha managed to penetrate the second half after repatriating their colleague Amri/Nita.
Jafar/Felisha are the only mixed doubles that have contributed titles this year and stopped in the semifinals three times. On the other hand, Amri/Nita even though they have not given titles, they have twice reached the semifinals.
Rionny said he was happy with the development of Adnan/Indah, which in several high-level tournaments could compete by defeating superior pairs.
"This is a very good development, but it should not be easily satisfied. There is still a lot to add. Consistent in the field, how to get out of the pressure, not in a hurry, not to die on your own, and confidence. Must continue to learn," he said.
The three mixed doubles above will begin their journey at the China Masters on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
Jafar/Felisha will face Hiroki Midorikawa/Natsu Saito (Japan), Adnan/Indah against Hoo Pang Ron/Cheng Su Yin (Malaysia), and Amri/Nita clashed with Callum Hemming/Estelle van Leeuwen (England).
