The appeal offered through The Indonesia Pro-Am presented by Combiphar & Nomura 2025 provides a different experience for amateur golfers such as Sofjan.
This tournament allowed them to play and learn with the Asian Development Tour (ADT) golfers in the largest first pro-am tournament in Indonesia.
"There is a rare opportunity to play professionally. I want to learn a lot with pros. I see that the tournament is extraordinary. This impressed me and always wanted to join this tournament," said Sofjan.
As for the individual number, the trophy won The Indonesia Pro-Am presented by Combiphar & Nomura was brought home by Thai golfer Nopparat Panichphol.
He managed to win his second trophy at the ADT event after going through a tense drama in the play-offs. 26-year-old golfer had to finish an additional four-hole play-off and overcome the resistance of Su Ching-hung from China Taipei.
Both were forced to undergo the play-offs after both of them collected the same total score, namely 198 (15-below-par). Nopparat locked the win in the fourth play-off with a par after Ching-hung made a bobbey.
This is the second title for the golfer who is familiarly called Eda on the ADT stage since becoming pro in 2023. He first won the ADT title at the ADT Players Championship last year.
Meanwhile, Indonesia's golfer, Naraajie Emerald Ramadhanputra, who was once favorite to become the champion, had to settle for T3. He scored 68 (3-par).
The 25-year-old golfer finally had to share a place with two other golfers in T3 with a total of 199 (14-under-par).
"Today's wind condition made my game change. This is what makes me confused. However, I am quite satisfied with the results during the three days of competing," said Naraajie.
