Hong Kong Open 2025: Four Indonesian Representatives Early War In Round I

Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu will meet her colleague, Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah, in the first round of the Hong Kong Open 2025 (doc. PBSI).

JAKARTA A total of four Indonesian representatives must immediately face each other in the first round of the Hong Kong Open 2025 which will take place next week.

The Super 500 BWF level tournament will be held on September 9-14, 2025 in Hong Kong Coliseum. The organizers provided a prize of 500 thousand US dollars or equivalent to Rp. 8.2 billion.

Indonesia has deployed a total of 13 representatives in this event. Women's doubles and mixed doubles are confirmed to have immediately lost two representatives in the first round because they met their compatriots.

Of the women's doubles, the two representatives who immediately faced each other were Rachellessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum against Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.

The Hong Kong Open 2025 is the first tournament of the new composition of four women's doubles pairs rotated by the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) at the beginning of last month.

They are Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi, Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti/Lanny Tria Mayasari, Rachel Alllessya Rose/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari, and Apriyani Rahayu/Febi Setianingrum

Their latest formation now is Lanny Tria Mayasari/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi, Rachel Alllessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum, Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti, and Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari.

Two other representatives who also immediately faced each other were Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha mixed doubles Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu against Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah.

This is their fifth clash in a competitive arena. In the previous four clashes, all of which occurred last year, the two pairs shared a 2-2 victory.
