Fadia Hopes To Win Gold Medal For The 2025 BWF World Championship

Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti wants gold at the 2025 World Championships when paired with Lanny Tria Mayasari (doc. PBSI).

JAKARTA Badminton player who specializes in doubles, Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti, hopes to bring home a gold medal from the 2025 BWF World Championship or the 2025 BWF World Championship.

This is Fadia's last tournament with her partner, Lanny Tria Mayasari, before being overhauled and returning to play with Apriyani Rahayu.

"The last match with Lanny. So, I want to give my best. We have a target to take medals and I hope to upgrade medals," said Fadia in the statement.

When paired with Apriyani at the previous edition of the Badminton World Championships in 2023, Fadia managed to penetrate the final round and brought home a silver medal.

At that time they came out as runners-up after losing in the final against Chen Qingchen/Jia Yifan, a pair from China who has now broken up a partnership.

Fadia said that this year he and Lanny had undergone a series of thorough preparations so that they were confident that they could compete in this prestigious event.

"Preparations have been quite good after appearing at the Japan Open 2025. Recovery is also good and in excellent condition too," said Fadia.

The 2025 BWF World Championships will take place at Adidas Arena, Paris, France, on August 25-31, 2025. Indonesia has sent a total of 12 representatives there.

From the women's doubles sector, Lanny/Fadia will appear with the Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi pair.

Women's doubles is the only sector that has never won a gold medal from the BWF World Championships. Since this event started in 1977, they have only got three silver and four bronze.
