Indonesia Has Received 4 Gold Medals At The 2025 Asian Cup Woodball

The appearance of Indonesian athletes at the 13th Asian Cup Woodball Championship 2025 (doc. NOC Indonesia).

JAKARTA Indonesia has managed to collect four gold medals from the 13th Asian Cup Woodball Championship 2025 which took place at JSI Resort, Bogor, West Java.

The four gold medals on the second day of the tournament which took place on Thursday, August 21, 2025, came from team and double numbers. That number can still increase because there is a final which will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025.

From the men's stroke team number, Indonesia confirmed that gold medals after Marga Nugraha Susilo, Muhammad Indaka, I Putu Ari Kuncoro, Ahris Sumariyanto, Ahmad Yopi Solpianda, and Surya Aditya Pratama, could collect a total score of 336 points.

The number of points made Indonesia succeed in winning over China, Jareai, who won silver (347 points) and Hong Kong who brought home bronze (351 points).

A similar achievement was also made by the Indonesian women's stroke team through Siti Masithah, Ika Yulianingsih, Celsy Silviana, Febriyanti, Ayu Putri Febriana Ningrum, and Finda Tri Setyaningrum.

Finda and friends managed to collect a score of 344 points, followed by China Taipei who won silver with 359 points and Hong Kong who got bronze with 371 points.

Meanwhile, in the men's double stroke event, the final will present the All Indonesian Final. Ariska and Surya Aditya Pratama managed to secure the gold medal with a score of 84 points.

The two names were followed by the pair Ahmad Yopi and Muhammad Khadiq who won silver (86 points), and Hong Kong who had to settle for the bronze medal.

Additional gold also came from the women's double stroke number. The duet Celsy Silviana and Febriyanti beat China Taipei with a score of 84-90. China Taipei won the bronze again through other pairs who collected 91 points.

Indonesia's dominance has not stopped here. In the mixed double stroke number, the pair Ahris Sumariyanto and Finda Tri Setyaningrum added to the silver collection with a score of 85 points, behind China Taipei who won gold (79 points) and Hong Kong brought home bronze (91 points).

Additional gold opportunities for Indonesia are still wide open. In the men's singles stroke competition number, five Indonesian representatives managed to qualify for the final, namely Marga Nugraha Susilo (84), Muhammad Hindaka (85), Putu Ari Kuncoro (85), Ahmad Yopi Solpianda (85), and Ahris Sumariyanto (86).

Meanwhile, in the women's singles stroke category, five Indonesian representatives also controlled the top, namely Siti Masithah (83), Ika Yulianingsih (88), Celsy Silviana (89), Febrianty (89), and Ayu Putri Febriananingrum (90).

In addition, the medal series was also successfully secured from the Youth Number, both individuals, teams, and doubles.

In the Youth Boys single, Aditya Laksmono is in second place with a score of 87 and has the right to advance to the final round with four other Indonesian representatives. In the women's sector, all Indonesian athletes qualified for the final, with Falisha

China Taipei won the gold medal, while Hong Kong brought home bronze. On the other hand, the Youth Girls Indonesia team confirmed the gold medal after collecting 376 points, winning over China Taipei and Hong Kong.

In doubles, Indonesia also dominates. Restu Erdanald and Aditya Laksmono won silver medals in double Youth Boys, while bronze fell to the pair I Komang Dimas and I Made Indra. The two pairs are under China Taipei who won gold.

In the women's sector, theria Christabel and Falisha Noya presented the silver medal double Youth girls. Indonesia also added bronze through the duo Hannah Kezia and Leandra Aliyyah, while Hong Kong took the top spot.

For the Youth Mix double, China Taipei won the gold medal, while Hong Kong secured silver and bronze.
