Jersey Has Not Arrived, Persib Uses Alternative Costume In AFC Champions League 2 Qualification

Persib can't wear a new jersey in the AFC Champions League Two (doc. Persib).

JAKARTA - Persib Bandung will face Maniladigger in the AFC Champions League 2 Qualification on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, WIB night, at the Gelora Bandung Stadium, Lautan Api. However, in that match, Maung Bandung will use an alternative jersey because the process of sending new costumes is hampered.

"We would like to convey official information to all Bobotoh and media colleagues regarding the use of jerseys in the 2025 AFC Champions League Two (ACL 2) Qualification match between Persib and Manila Daggers at the Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA), Wednesday, August 13, 2025."

"By continuing to pay attention to AFC regulations, in that match, the team will use alternative jerseys."

"This is because the latest jersey for ACL 2 2025 from Kelme cannot be used because it is still in the process of being sent," said Deputy CEO of PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat, Adhitia Putra Herawan, in an official release quoted on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

Obstacles related to this Jersey also explained that Adhitia did not only have an impact on the completeness of Bojan Hodak's foster children, but also affected the stock at Persib's official knick-knacks.

"We understand the great enthusiasm of Bobotoh, especially since the launch some time ago, where many immediately pre-order (PO)."

"This enthusiasm is a clear proof of Bobotoh's love for Persib. We really appreciate it."

"With full respect, we apologize for this delay. In the near future, all official Kelme apparels, ranging from complete lines of jerseys, training kits, to equipment and other merchandise, will be available at the Persib Store and used by teams and officials in training sessions as well as the next matches in the Super League and ACL 2 2025 competitions," said Adhitia.

Previously, it was known that in the pre-season match and the inaugural match of the 2025/2026 Super League, Persib actually wore a new costume from the Japanese brand.

However, the obstacles that occurred made them fail to use new costumes at the international level.
