Shakthtar Donetsk To FC Utrecht Continues To Third Round

Shakthtar Donetsk to FC Utrecht advanced to the third round of the Europa League Qualification for the 2025/2026 season after eliminating their opponents in the second leg of the second round, Friday morning WIB.

In the second leg of the second round, as reported by Antara, Shakhtar Donetsk was able to win with a score of 2-0 when they hosted Turkish representatives Besiktas at Miejski im Stadium. Henryka Reymana, Krakow, Poland, according to UEFA records.

Shakhtar Donetsk won thanks to goals scored by Kevin and Kaua Elias during the first half against Besiktas which was guarded by goalkeeper Mert Gunok.

Statistically Shakhtar Donetsk is superior to Besiktas by controlling 56 percent of possession and releasing a total of 12 of them on target.

This victory made Shakhtar ensure that one place in the third round of the Europa League Qualification with a 6-2 aggregate victory after playing at the Besiktas home was able to win with a score of 4-2.

Meanwhile, Dutch representatives FC Utrecht won when they met Moldova Sheriff Tiraspol in the second leg of the Europa League Qualification at the Galgenwaard Stadium, Utrecht.

In that match, FC Utrecht's victory came thanks to goals scored by Victor Jensen, Siebe Hooraymans, Nick Viergever and Souffian El Karouani, while the Sheriff had time to reduce the gap through total Olaniyi Oded.

Thanks to this victory, FC Utrecht advanced to the third round of the Europa League Qualification for a 7-2 aggregate win over the Sheriff after winning in the first leg with a score of 3-1.
