JAKARTA The Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) will send as many as 32 sports players to take part in the short study program of the Australian Awards and learn about the sports industry for two weeks.
The launch of the program to advance the sports industry was carried out by the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora), Dito Ariotedjo, together with the Australian Ambassador to Indonesia, Rod Brazier, on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.
"We released and launched a specific short study program for sports industry education," said Dito after the event.
This short study program is designed to equip sports professionals, policymakers, and industry players in Indonesia with knowledge and tools to strengthen the national sports industry.

Participants who took part in this program were representatives of athletes, experts and sports personnel, federations, and there were also the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
While there, they also had the opportunity to learn directly related to Australia's preparations to host the 2032 Olympics and Paralympics.
"This is a momentum that we have prepared from now on how sports personnel, stakeholders of our sports ecosystem can learn directly from now on, all of them prepare to host the Olympics," said Dito.
This program will be organized by two leading institutions, namely Melbourne Business Scholar (MBS) and Central Queensland University (CQU).
In addition, participants will also visit Melbourne, Canberra, and Brisbane, to interact with Australian sports professionals.
