Udinese Still Making Offers For Jay Idzes, Lecce Joins Competition

JAKARTA - Udinese still has not given up on chasing the services of Indonesian National Team player, Jay Idzes. However, in the midst of efforts to bring Idzes, Udinese even had to compete with Lecce who was also interested in bringing the center-back to the 2025 summer transfer market.

It is known that Udinese is targeting Idzes to join the squad to replace Jaka Bijol who left for Leeds United.

Venezia, who is currently a club where Jay Idzes belongs, actually charges 10 million euros or IDR 189 billion. The price is higher than the market set by Transfermarkt worth 7.5 million euros.

The price is still being pushed down by Udinese who only want to apply for funds of 5 million euros for Jay Idzes and with a maximum limit of 6 to 7 million euros.

"Bianconeri has already made an offer of 5 million euros and could raise the limit of between 6 or 7 million euros," said Tutto Mercato.

On the one hand, Udinese must be quick in making decisions. The reason is that at the same time they also have to compete with Lecce who is also interested in bringing in Jay Idzes.

Lecce's intention to bring Idzes to the team was because of their position which almost fell into the ravine of Serie A 2024/2025 degradation.

The presence of Idzes is expected to strengthen the squad so that they can stay in Serie A for the 2025/2026 season.

"In the midst of communication between Udinese and Jay Idzes, Lecce also showed interest. They are preparing strength," continued Tutto Mercato.

Regarding the competition in the race for Jay Idzes, Lecce is known to still have not established a more intense dialogue like Udinese. Venezia is also still selling expensively to the mainstay player of the Garuda Squad because she still has a long contract until 2027.
