Moreover, in 2020 Jota's income has also increased sharply since joining Liverpool from Wolverhampton. During that period, Jota was said to have received a salary of 15.2 million dollars (Rp 247 billion) per year from Liverpool.

Jota's income is not only that, he also received honorariums from sponsors, such as Nike and online games. All income is estimated at 54 million dollars or Rp878 billion.

Not only leaving the inheritance of money, but Jota also left a house in Liverpool and a villa in Lisbon. In addition, Jota left a number of luxury cars, such as Range Rover Sport, Porsche 911 Turbo S, Ferrari 488, Audi Q7, and Mercedes-Benz G63AMG.

The Diogo Jota family is also confirmed to get 14.5 million (equivalent to Rp319 billion) from Liverpool for the next two years. This certainty was obtained after Liverpool stated that they would pay salaries in the remaining Jota contracts until 2027.

Jota and his younger brother Andre Silva were declared dead on the spot after a car accident in Zamora, Spain, July 3, 2025, local time. Jota is said to be on his way to Santander City to board a ferry to England.

It was previously known that Jota had recently undergone minor lung surgery at Porto. Due to this condition, Jota was advised by the medical team not to use planes while traveling. That's why Jota plans to return to Liverpool by ferry.
