Badminton Legends Will Enliven Make Your Moment Event

The Persi Conference for the Make Your Moment (VOI/Cosmas Kopong Beda) badminton event.

JAKARTA Eight Indonesian badminton legends who won Olympic gold medals will appear in an event titled Make Your Moment next month.

The performances of these legends will be held on July 22, 2025 at the Senayan Tennis Indoor, Jakarta. This event is the result of a collaboration between the names of OPPO and the Indonesia Olympians Association (IOA).

"One stage, eight legends will be a moment that will not be repeated. This is the first time in Indonesia," said OPPO Indonesia Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, Patrick Owen.

The eight badminton legends who will appear on this stage are Alan Budikusuma, Susy Susanti, Ricky Soebagdja, Candra Wijaya, Taufik Hidayat, Liliyana Natsir, Tontowi Ahmad, and Apriyani Rahayu.

The Chairperson of the IOA, Yayuk Basuki, said that he was proud to support programs that encourage the spirit of regeneration and empowerment of young athletes.

"This event is a manifestation of the noble values of sports that inspire across generations. We also invite the public to contribute through charitable activities that will be announced further," he said.

This match is not only a place of nostalgia, but also a moment of revival of the national spirit through sports. Later all ticket sales will be distributed to help national athletes.

Taufik Hidayat welcomed and appreciated this event for having a social impact, especially on national athletes who have retired and have made Indonesia proud.

"There are athletes who live in limitations that are far from the spotlight. Therefore, we hope that this event will be a spirit for the next generation to increase awareness for the development of sports in Indonesia," he said.

A total of six ticket categories are provided for this step event. The price starts from the cheapest IDR 189 thousand for the Eastern Tribune category to the most expensive IDR 3.7 million for VVIP.
