Yolla Yuliana Retired From The Indonesian Volleyball National Team

Yolla Yuliana has decided to retire from the Indonesian Volleyball National Team (Instagram/@yollayuliana1515).

JAKARTA The Indonesian women's volleyball player, Yolla Yuliana, officially decided to retire from the Indonesian Volleyball National Team (Timnas) after 14 years of playing for the Red-White squad.

Yolla, now 31, submitted his resignation letter to the Central Board of the Indonesian Volleyball Association (PP PBVSI) on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

"I will still play in Proliga and Livoli. I only retire from the Indonesian national team," said Yolla in a statement received from PBVSI.

Yolla made her debut in the Indonesian national team in 2008 when she appeared on Youth Girls Asia in Manila, Philippines. At that time, Indonesia, coached by Mr. Lee Qiujiang, finished in sixth position.

Yolla's last appearance with the Indonesian Volleyball national team took place at the AVC Nations Cup 2025 in Hanoi last week. Yolla served as team captain and helped Indonesia finish fifth.

"I resigned because I wanted to give opportunities to young players. Yesterday at the AVC Nations Cup 2025 I saw that the Philippines had deployed many young players. I hope our young players don't lose either," said Yolla.

Throughout his career, Yolla has collected various titles, including when defending Jakarta Electric PLN and Bandung BJB Tandamata in Proliga.
