The Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) officially summoned 10 additional athletes to enter the Cipayung National Training Center (Pelatnas).
In an official statement received on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, the national badminton parent confirmed that the names summoned will join the PBSI National Training Center starting June 2, 2025.
The ten names called consisted of two men's singles, two women's singles, four in the men's doubles number, and two others from the women's doubles sector.
In the men's and women's singles sector, there are Richie Duta Richardo and Dendi Triansyah and Salsabila Amiradana and Kavitha Najwa Aulia.
The men's and women's doubles are Wahyu Agung Prasetyo, Dexter Farrell, Ali Faathir Rayhan, and Devin Artha Wahyudi and Riska Anggraini and Jania Novalita Situmorang.

The Head of Binpres Pelatnas PBSI, Eng Hian, who also led the monitoring team stated that a more transparent and accountable coaching system was carried out in this selection.
"We want a more objective and in-depth assessment. Not only winning or losing, but how the potential of athletes can be read comprehensively," he said.
For this reason, PBSI formed an independent and professional Final Determination Team (TPA). This team consists of administrators and professionals from both internal and external PBSI.
This TPA is tasked with conducting a thorough evaluation of more than just the results of the match. The selection process considers achievements, technical strength, posture, fighting power, future potential, to comprehensive medical, physical, and psychological test results data carried out.
Eng Hian emphasized that athletes who have not been included in the PBSI National Training Center will still be monitored regularly through official tournaments.
"Promotions and degradation are dynamic. Every progress will be evaluated according to the KPI (Key Performance Indicators) that has been determined," he said.
