JAKARTA The athlete of Indonesian badminton, Muhammad Al Imran, made a surprise to win a gold medal at the 6th Fazza Dubai Para Badminton International 2025.
Imran secured the title after beating the world number four from India, Umesh target Kumar, with a score of 21-18, 19-21, and 21-9.
The single title of the SL3 classification men feels very special for Imran because the event marked his debut in international badminton. He had just qualified for SL3 classification in Dubai before the championship took place.
"Alhamdulillah, I was able to enter Pelatnas and yesterday became an international debut. Thank God, I was given sustenance to become first place," said Imran in a statement received.

"After Peparda, I represented West Java at Peparnas 2024 Solo. Alhamdulillah, I got three gold in the national single SL3 class, single elite SL3 and men's team," said Imran.
The coach of Indonesian badminton, Ukun Rukaendi, was not surprised by Imran's achievements. The coaching team saw his great talent when Imran dominated the SL3 class at Peparnas XVII 2024 Solo.

The title at the 6th Fazza Dubai Para Badminton International 2025 is just an opening. The coaching team will train Imran's durability as a competitive capital at SL3 for higher levels, especially the 2028 Los Angeles Paralympics.
