The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) together with the Indonesian Development Basketball League (DBL) are committed to developing basketball and fostering young players through a number of jointly created programs.

"The DKI Provincial Government will seriously cooperate with DBL Indonesia to advance basketball. We will facilitate the Jakarta Provincial Government," said DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung, while attending the Development Basketball League (DBL) Indonesia Festival in Jakarta, Saturday.

He said the form of cooperation with DBL Indonesia is like a commitment that has been stated repeatedly in a number of other sports activities.

"Jakarta is open to becoming a sports tourism city," said Pramono.
