JAKARTA Yella Yuliana is one of 10 Indonesian volleyball players who have registered for the Asian player quota to compete for the highest level volleyball league in South Korea.
The South Korean Volleyball Federation (KOVO) announced on Thursday, March 6, 2025, that a total of 143 volleyball players had signed up for the 2025 Asian player quota draft.
This number includes 100 male players from 19 countries and 43 female volunteers from 10 countries. Yolla is the only Indonesian female player who is said to have registered.
This is the second time the player from Bandung has tried his luck in the South Korean league. Last year, the 30-year-old joined the try out, but failed to qualify.
The nine Indonesian male volleyball players who registered were Doni Haryono, Rivan Nurmulki, Agil Angga, Sandi Akbar, Luvi Nugraha, Dawuda Alaihimas Sallam, Fahry Septian, Nizar Zulfikar, and Dio Zulfikri.
