PT LIB Holds Meeting With Patrick Kluivert, Discusses Local Competition Collaboration

JAKARTA - PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) held its first meeting with the new coach of the Indonesian national team, Patrick Kluivert. The meeting discussed collaboration.

Taking place on Friday, February 7, 2025, the agenda for the meeting between PT LIB and Kluivert was also attended by assistant coaches, namely Denny Landzaat, Alex Pastoor, and Indonesia U-23 coach Gerald Vanenburg.

From the LIB side, there are President Director Ferry Paulus, Operations Director Asep Saputra, Finance Director Sadikin Aksa, and Performance Development Manager Guntur Cahyo Utomo.

On this occasion, PT LIB explained carefully about the structure of the competition being managed, including League 1, Liga 2, Liga Nusantara, and Elite Pro Academy (EPA) Liga 1.

In addition, LIB also explained the number of clubs involved, the total match being held, and the number of players participating in these competitions.

"This meeting is an important first step to build a solid collaboration between LIB and the Indonesian national team coach team," Ferry Paulus said in a statement on the official website quoted on Friday, February 7, 2025.

Regarding young players, the Indonesian national team's coaching team also provided various inputs and suggestions to improve the quality of coaching. In this case, it is in line with the Elite Pro Academy program run by LIB.

In addition, PT LIB and the Indonesian national team coach team also discussed the current conditions of Liga 1, including technical aspects and player performance.

The Indonesian national team coach team is so enthusiastic in understanding the dynamics of the competition, considering that the players who play in Liga 1 are potential candidates to strengthen the Indonesian national team.

LIB also provides up-to-date data and information on the development of the league, including technical reports, and player performance.

At the end of the meeting, both parties agreed to support each other. PT LIB emphasized its commitment to continue to enrich and improve the quality of the competition.
