JAKARTA - Indonesian national team player, Sandy Walsh, is said to be only one step away from joining Japan's top club, Yokohama F. Marinos. This news is as conveyed by Belgian media journalist Jonas Van De Veire.

Through his personal account X @Jonasvdv_, he said that Sandy Walsh would not renew his contract with Belgian club KV Mechelen which was completed in June 2025.

Regarding Walsh's move to Yokohama, Jonas said the process is now in the stage of finalizing the details of the contract. The agreement is then expected to be completed on Saturday, February 8, 2025.
