JAKARTA - Harry Kane has a release clause in his contract with Bayern Munich.
The German newspaper, Bild, has reported that the 31-year-old has an agreement allowing him to leave the club this winter for around 83.3 million euros and will be active again in January 2026 when the costs drop to 60 million euros.
The clause exists although no specific details are outlined. However, Bayern Munich insists that Kane is happy and does not want to leave the Bundesliga team anytime soon.
Bild suggested that any club that activates the clause in January 2026 will trigger a transfer at the end of the 2025/2026 season, not soon.

Kane left Tottenham Hotspur for Bayern Munich in a 100 million deal in August 2023.
As part of the deal, Spurs have the first option for Kane, but they still need to activate the clause or negotiate prices with Bayern Munich.
This opens up opportunities for a possible return to England one day with Spurs, Chelsea and Manchester United among the clubs open to recruiting the center forward last month and likely to do so again in the summer.
Arsenal are also interested in recruiting attackers, but given London's rivalry with Spurs, Kane's move would be highly unlikely even though the England captain has been a fan of the Gunners since childhood.
Kane also lacked 47 goals from Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League record of 260 goals.
However, there is no sign of him returning to England. Kane still feels at home at Bayern Munich, where he continues to collect productive figures, scoring 70 goals in 72 games.
There is still the possibility that one day he will move to another place with MLS (Major League Soccer) to be touted as a possible destination.
Bild hinted that Bayern Munich had discussed future replacement candidates for Kane, including Benjamin Sesko of Red Bull Leipzig, who is also Arsenal's long-term target.
