JAKARTA - Kevin Diks officially completed a move from FC Copenhagen to Borussia Monchengladbach on Sunday, January 26, 2025, local time, by signing a long contract.
The 28-year-old defender was tied to a long contract until 30 June 2030. However, the agreement only took effect on July 1, 2025, when Diks' tenure in Copenhagen was completed and he went to the Bundesliga on a free transfer.
"Kevin is an experienced and versatile defender who can play anywhere in the back, both in the middle, left, and right."
"He made us more flexible in defending. He is also a very good person and very determined. He will be very suitable here," said Borussia Executive Director Monchengladbach, Roland Virkus, on the club website.
Although it has officially changed uniforms at the beginning of next season, Kevin Diks has been professional for the remaining six months with FC Copenhagen.
