Fiorentina Reports Latest Conditions Of Edoardo Bove: Aware And Continuously Monitored

JAKARTA - Serie A club, Fiorentina, reported on Edoardo Bove's latest condition after collapsing in the middle of the match against Inter Milan on Monday, December 2, 2024, early morning WIB. The midfielder is now in better condition and continues to be monitored.

Quoted from the information shared through the official website, Fiorentina said Bove had regained consciousness and began communicating with his family, club management, coaches, and teammates.

"Edoardo Bove is conscious and recognizes the people around him. He has spoken to his family, club staff, coaches, and teammates, who will soon visit him after hearing this good news," Fiorentina wrote on the official website quoted Tuesday, December 3, 2024.

Even so, Fiorentina said that Bove still had to undergo a series of further medical tests at the hospital. This was done to find out the exact cause of suddenly falling unconscious in the field.

Finally, the club nicknamed La Viola also did not forget to express appreciation to all parties, both medical and fans, which were so meaningful in Bove's recovery.

"We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the medical team, doctors, and hospital staff for their professionalism and dedication."

After this gripping incident, the club's president, Total Commisso, confirmed that his party would continue to monitor Bove's developments and plan to talk directly with the player in the near future.

Edoardo Bove collapsed in the 15th minute of Fiorentina's match against Inter Milan after bending over to tie his rope.

The incident was first noticed by Inter Milan, Hakan Calhanoglu and Denzel Dumfries, who swiftly called the medical team to provide emergency assistance.

After receiving treatment in the field, Bove was then taken to hospital by ambulance. Meanwhile, the match had to be postponed when the two teams were still 0-0.
