Liga 1 2024/2025 Schedule: 3 Closing Match Week 12

JAKARTA - Liga 1 2024/2025 will roll again on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. Three matches will be presented as the closing of week 12.

Arema FC vs Persita Tangerang is the opening match for the 12th week today. The match will be held at Soepriadi Stadium, Blitar, at 15.30 WIB.

With the status of the host, Arema will host the Cisadane Warriors without being strengthened by a number of main pillars. Call it Arkhan Fikri and Achmad Maulana Syarif who are currently fulfilling the summons of the Indonesian national team and Pablo Oliveira who are serving a card accumulation sentence.

The match between Arema vs Persita is predicted to run hot considering that both teams now have similar points in the standings.

Singo Edan is in seventh position and Persita is trailing behind him with a collection of 18 points.

In other matches at different locations, there will be matches that will bring together Dewa United vs PSS Sleman at Pakansari Stadium, Bogor Regency.

Ahead of the match, the coach of Dewa United, Jan Olde Riekerink, revealed that there were two Tangsel Warriors midfielders who were confirmed to be absent from the match.

"For players, we cannot play Asep due to injury and Messidoro who is still subject to sanctions. In addition, all are ready for the match," Jan Riekerink said in an official statement.

Asked about his slick record when he met PSS, this Dutch coach chose not to think about it.

"I personally don't think about a good record with PSS in the previous game. Like when we met Bali United, we haven't won yet, but in the end we can beat them," said Riekerink.

Meanwhile, Persis Solo vs Barito Putera will be the closing match of week 12 which will be played at 19.00 WIB at Manahan Stadium.

For Barito Putera, this is a new phase after being left by coach Rahmad Darmawan who is on leave. This situation makes them now temporarily led by the Technical Director, Franswas Huwae.

Meeting with Persis is a big challenge at the beginning of the interim coach's tenure.

You see, Barito Putera currently occupies the 14th position in the standings with nine points after being touched by victory in six weeks.
