Amorim Only Focuses on Manchester United's Performance, Doesn't Care About the League's Top Four

JAKARTA - Ruben Amorim played down Manchester United's chances of finishing in the top four of the 2024/2025 Premier League despite leading his team to a 4-0 victory over Everton on Sunday, December 1, 2024.

Manchester United rose to the top half of the standings (ninth) thanks to two goals each from Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee at Old Trafford.

That made Amorim's team only four points behind Brighton in fourth place or the last path to the Champions League next season.

However, the Portuguese coach emphasized that he was more focused on the Red Devils' performance than thinking about the target of a top-four position in the standings, which is actually very realistic this season.

"If I say no, you will say I can't be the Manchester United coach. However, I want to be honest with our fans."
