Full List Of BWF World Tour Finals 2024 Participants

Jonatan Christie is the only Indonesian men's singles at the 2024 BWF World Tour Finals (doc. PBSI).

The 2024 BWF World Tour Finals badminton event participants are all complete. Indonesia managed to send as many as six representatives to the event.

BWF World Tour Finals will take place from 11-15 December 2024 in Hangzhou, China. This tournament provides a prize of 2.5 million US dollars or equivalent to Rp39.6 billion.

A maximum of two players or pairs per member association who can meet the requirements to play here. The 2024 Olympic champions received a special invitation.

From the men's singles, Indonesia will send Jonatan Christie. The 27-year-old badminton player qualified there after becoming a semifinalist at the Kumamoto Japan Masters and runner-up at the 2024 China Masters.

In this number there will also be a two-time Olympic champion, Viktor Axelsen. The Danish badminton player has the opportunity to win his fourth title from this event.

From the women's singles, Indonesia has Gregoria Mariska Tunjung. On the list there are also Chinese duo, Wang Zhi Yi and Han Yue, as well as gold medalist at the 2024 Paris Olympics from South Korea, An Se-young.

Then in the men's doubles, Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Mohammad Reza Pahlevi Isfahani, He Ji Ting/Ren Xiang Yu, Lee Jhe-Huei/Yang Po-Hsuan, and Goh Sze Fei/Nur Izzuddin will make their debut.

Olympic champion Chen Qing Chen/Jia Yi Fan also got a fifth chance to play in this event. The couple was accompanied by their compatriot, Liu Sheng Shu/Tan Ning.

Finally in the mixed doubles, there is the gold medalist at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Zheng Si Wei/Huang Ya Qiong. Couples from China will try to keep their title from this event.
