Liga 1 2024/2025 Results: PSIS Wins Dramatically, Persita Destroys Barito Putera

PSIS Semarang won dramatically at home to Persik Kediri in the 11th week of Liga 1 2024/2025 (Instagram/@psisfcofficial).

JAKARTA - Two matches for the 11th week of Liga 1 2024/2025 will be held simultaneously on Saturday, November 23, 2024, namely Persik Kediri vs PSIS Semarang and Barito Putera vs Persita Tangerang.

PSIS Semarang visited Persik Kediri headquarters, Brawijaya Stadium. Laskar Mahesa Jenar managed to bring home three points after winning dramatically with a narrow score of 1-0.

Persik actually has many chances to score goals. However, not a single chance became a goal.

PSIS goalkeeper, Syahrul Trisna, became a sturdy wall that often thwarted the host's efforts. The first half was closed with a score of glasses.

Entering the second half, PSIS and Persik played more openly. However, the goal awaited only happened ahead of normal time.

In the 89th minute, Evandro Brandao scored a goal through his flick.

Luckily, there was no significant threat to PSIS' goal and they were able to maintain their lead until the game was over.

This victory made PSIS move up to 13th position in Liga 1 standings by packing 10 points from 11 matches. Meanwhile, Persik came down to 10th position by packing 15 points.

Shifting to another match, Persita, who was the visitors, managed to get three points at the Sultan Agung Bantul Stadium, which is Barito Putera's home.

Both teams have played openly since the beginning of the match. Selling and buying also happened.

Persita first had a chance in the 11th minute, but Gian Zola's shot from Irsyad Maulana's pass was still saved by Satria Tama.

The hosts then locked up Persita's defense from the start of the second half. A dangerous opportunity came in the 56th minute through Lucas Morelatto's efforts after utilizing the ball vomited in the box, but his shot was still too weak.

A minute later, it was Alhaji Gero's turn to take advantage of the bait from the corner, but his header still hit the Persita defender.

Focusing on looking for an equalizer, Barito Putera conceded again. In the 68th minute, Esal Syahrul's flick took advantage of a quick counter-attack resulting in Persita's second goal.
