JAKARTA - Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici says Paulo Dybala's future remains uncertain as the Italian club move "more economically cautious" amid the uncertainty of the coronavirus pandemic.

Dybala's contract remains just one year away at Allianz Stadium, and it has been reported that Juve will listen to offers from other clubs for the striker this summer to avoid losing him for free in 2022.

Paratici claimed that the club had held regular talks with Dybala's representatives regarding a possible contract extension.

However, Paratici acknowledged that it is likely that the two parties could not reach a final agreement in the current state of the financial crisis.

"We talk to his agent every week, but we can't forget the moment we all experienced, even as a company," the Juve boss told Sky Italia on Sunday reported by Antara.

'In September we got back to negativity and we haven't been out of that situation, we've got to be careful with every move we make, and it's not just for football.

"No one can decide now what to do for the next one, two, three years. We have to be very careful."

Juve coach Andrea Pirlo refused to make any speculation about the Argentine striker's future in a press conference before Juve's Serie A match with Genoa on Sunday.

Dybala has been forced to miss 21 games this season due to injury, and has just returned to play after recovering from a serious knee ligament problem.

The 27-year-old striker has made just 17 appearances in all competitions, and has so far netted just four goals and two assists.

Paratici also discussed Alvaro Morata's current situation, with the Spanish striker due to return to Atletico Madrid when his loan spell at allianz Stadium ends in June.

Juve have the option of extending his loan for another year or signing him directly.

However, Paratici said the club had not yet decided which route to take, he had confirmed that they would try to retain the 28-year-old.

"Morata has a lot of doors open, we have a deal that gives us the option of immediately having him permanently or loaning him back," he said.

'He's the player we're after, he's given us a lot of things, he's a serious guy.'
