Pratama women's singles sector coach at the PBSI Cipayung National Training Center, Morico Harda, assessed that Ni Kadek Dhinda Amartya has great potential to continue to develop her abilities after winning the Indonesia Masters II Super 100-2024 title, which was held in Surabaya, Sunday, November 3.

In the final match at East Java Expo Surabaya, Dhinda defeated Malaysia's representative, Karupthevan Letshaana, with a score of 21-19, 21-17. According to Morico, this victory shows Dhinda's great potential, but he also sees that there are several aspects that need to be improved.

"In the future, we will focus on increasing the strength of Dhinda's feet so that they are more resistant when playing at a higher level. From this event we know what Dhinda still needs to improve," Morico said, quoted from the official statement of PP PBSI.

He also praised Dhinda's high fighting spirit and never gave up, which he said was an inspiration to other players. Morico appreciated Dhinda's struggle for victory starting from the qualifying round, where he had to face tough opponents until he finally won the title.

"I think Dhinda's struggle to become a champion is not easy. Fighting from below and playing twice in the qualifying round, he performed extraordinaryly by defeating players with higher ratings. I really appreciate his hard work," Morico explained.

Morico hopes that the women's singles sector players can follow Dhinda's lead to compete at the highest level. In addition to good techniques, Morico emphasized the importance of having a fighter mentality to achieve maximum results in every tournament.

"As a coach, I want to improve the mentality of the players on the field. They must have fighting spirit and the character does not give up. This has been proven by Dhinda who has this mentality," he added.

According to Morico, in addition to good technical mastery, discipline, mental, attitude, and enthusiasm to not want to lose are the main keys for players in the women's singles sector, especially to achieve achievements at a higher level.
