Manchester City Faces Hurricane Injury After Carabao Cup

JAKARTA - Manchester City face an injury storm after losing 1-2 to Tottenham Hotspur in the Fourth Round of the Carabao Cup 2024/2025, Thursday, October 31, 2024, early morning WIB.

Sawinho was stretched out in the 63rd minute and replaced by Jacob Wright. The 20-year-old striker's withdrawal adds to the long list of injuries to The Citizens' players.

A Brazilian player burst into tears and was entertained by his team-mate as he was carried on a stretcher for an ankle injury.

Before the match, Manchester City also lost Manuel Akanji in the warm-up. The center-back entered the treatment room due to knee problems.

Ruben Dias also had to go in and out of the treatment room because he had not fully recovered.

Rodri, who won the 2024 Ballon d'Or award, has been ruled out of the season due to an ACL injury.

While De Bruyne, Grealish, and Walker will not return until the next international break in mid-November 2024.
