JAKARTA Tyson Fury will fight small boxer Moses Ituma in a training camp to prepare for his rematch against Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury and Usyk are scheduled to resume on December 21, 2024, in Saudi Arabia. Earlier in the first clashes in May 2024, Fury lost through a separate decision (split decision).
Prior to the rematch, Fury will undergo a match-match exercise against Ituma, which is considered the best prospect in boxing, for two or three weeks at the start of the training camp.
"We (Usyk) have a similar style (fight) so I feel I will be very useful for (Fury)," said Ituma as quoted by Sky Sport.
Ituma is currently only 19 years old, but is predicted to be a future heavyweight world champion.

This can be seen from his unbeaten record in 10 fights, eight of which he won by knockout.
He even had a chance to break Mike Tyson's record as the youngest world champion. When Fury and Usyk duel later, Ituma is scheduled to face Demsey McKean in an undercard match.
"I'm not going through a game practice just to help Fury. I want to measure my abilities with Fury's abilities. Obviously I'm looking forward to that game practice," said Ituma.
Previously, Ituma had competed with Fury. He was in the camp with his idol ahead of the first fight date against Usyk, but was postponed after the WBC title winner was injured.
Ituma has ambitions to follow in Fury's footsteps as world champion in the heavyweight class. This wish may be realized in the near future.
"If I don't want to have ambitions to become a world champion then what's the point of me being in this boxing world? I'm not here to play games," said the 2004-born boxer.
The duel between Fury and Usyk is no longer for the four heavyweight belts.
You see, Usyk has vacated his IBF belt which Daniel Dubois won when appearing not as a seed against former world champion twice, Anthony Joshua.
