A number of important facilities, including the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, were heavily damaged and left 72 people dead and a number of people reported missing.
In fact, the Ricardo Tormo Circuit is the arena for the last MotoGP MotoGP series for the 2024 season on 15-17 November 2024.
In addition, the circuit in Valencia is scheduled as a post-season testing arena on November 19, 2024.

MotoGP officials further announced that the circuit was not damaged by flash floods.
However, his party continues to conduct a thorough evaluation of the Ricardo Tormo Circuit as a consideration for decision-making.
"We have been informed that the Grand Prix track itself appears to be in good condition although a thorough evaluation is still ongoing."
"As you all understand, it will be insensitive and irresponsible to talk about the event at this time."
"The focus must continue to be given to help those affected and circuits are currently being used as aid centers. As MotoGP, we have to try to help in any way possible."
"Nevertheless, both local governments and MotoGP remain committed to holding the event on a scheduled date and will work hard to make it happen."
"We will follow up with more information when it is available and will immediately notify if there is a change in the rules of the event," reads the MotoGP statement again.
Heavy rains have hit the Valencia area for 24 hours on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. The rain has actually fallen for a month within eight hours per day.
